    Hi Gregory!

I just noticed a change in fBf’s behavior (maybe caused by a Firefox update?):
    – marking a word that I previously formatted – say, in Italics – does NOT lead to the respecting button being shown as pressed (active)
    – DE-activating formatting using the aforementioned buttons doesn’t seem to work anymore either.

I also have 2 suggestions for small, rather cosmetic, enhancements of the fBf window:
    – please add a link or button that leads to this ‘Leave a Reply’ page,
    – please allow for a more flexible entry field (drag-by-mouse, or one that gets taller following the text input),
    – please add the fBf version number.
(I wish I could attach an image here…)

Many thanks for a great piece of software!

    Best regards,
    Valentin

I have “connected to Facebook” on all my browsers and tried your app. I always get “(#200) The user hasn’t authorized the application to perform this action”

I tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

    All the best,

The 200 error occurs when you skip the authorization for FBFormat to share on your timeline. Since the specific purpose of the app is to post formatted messages, you must provide this authorization for it to function.

To fix the issue, you will have to go to your app settings page on Facebook, and remove the authorization for FBFormat. Then you will need to re-authorize the app, and accept permissions for it to share on your behalf.

If you prefer to not have the app post on your behalf, you can copy and paste the formatted text into Facebook.

Only problem–well, inconvenience, really–is when I want to format a comment rather than a post; still gotta copy-paste for that, at least as far as I can tell.

Otherwise, this is great; I’ve been desperately needing a way to use italics for emphasis so that using all caps instead doesn’t look like I’m YELLING!
    Thanks for this. 🙂

Hi Gregory, a friend of mine used your tool in his FB-post, but all formatted text (bold, italics) turn into gibberish (question marks) if you read it in the Facebook-app itself (tested on iPhone 6S Plus)

    Expand FBFormat:
    • S̸l̸a̸s̸h̸ ̸t̸e̸x̸t̸ (Slash text)
    • T̴i̴l̴d̴e̴ ̴s̴t̴r̴i̴k̴e̴t̴h̴r̴o̴u̴g̴h̴ (Tilde strikethrough)
    • uʍop-ǝpᴉsd∩ (Upside-down)
    • Ⓑⓤⓑⓑⓛⓔ ⓣⓔⓧⓣ (bubble text).
    • Sᴍᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴘs (Small caps)
    • ????⒜⒭⒠⒩⒯⒣⒠⒮⒤⒮ ⒯⒠⒳⒯ (Parenthesis text)
    • Sᵘᵖᵉʳˢᶜʳⁱᵖᵗ (Superscript)
    • Sᵤbₛcʳᵢₚₜ (Subscript)
